Resident Civil Engineer (Site QA/QC)

Civil Engineering & Construction Supervision · Freetown, Sierra Leone

Seeking an experienced Resident Civil Engineer to supervise ongoing residential and commercial construction sites in Regent, Wilberforce, and Goderich. You will lead on-site concrete cube sampling, rebar verification, and weekly diaspora progress logging.

Core Responsibilities

Enforce adherence to approved structural drawings & bar bending schedules
Conduct slump tests and prepare concrete cubes for laboratory crush testing
Supervise substructure excavation and stepped raft foundation casting
Maintain comprehensive daily site logs and weekly 4K drone progress data

Qualifications Required

B.Eng in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Minimum 3 years active on-site structural construction experience
Registration with or eligibility for Sierra Leone Institution of Engineers (SLIE)
Proficiency in reading structural CAD drawings and rebar bending schedules

Join our studio creating luxury tropical residential villas, commercial plazas, and institutional campuses. You will model architectural and structural elements in BIM to detect spatial clashes and produce photorealistic 4K visual assets.

Core Responsibilities

Translate conceptual briefs into detailed 3D BIM models in Revit / ArchiCAD
Produce 4K exterior day and dusk architectural renders using Lumion / V-Ray
Coordinate architectural layouts with structural frame models for clash detection
Prepare full working drawing packages for Council permit submissions

Qualifications Required

Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent
Minimum 4 years demonstrated 3D BIM modeling and rendering experience
Proficiency in Revit, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Lumion/Enscape
Strong portfolio of residential and commercial designs
